The EUH4D Federation expansion was completed

Another initiaitve to bring toghether institutions working in the field of Big Data is the EU Hubs 4 Data Federation.  EUH4D is a dynamic alliance with the goal to constantly improve its reach, the variety and depth of its services It’s goal ist o bring Big Data services closer to small and medium enterprises, and start ups  all over europe. To do so the project launched an open call to select 18 new DIHs working on Big Data and AI. The onboarding of the new DIHs completes the Federation expansion process started in 2021; in fact, it has foreseen 9 DIHs to join EUHubs4Data in 2021 and 9 more in 2022.

The existing EUH4D catalogue will be enriched with the assets coming from these newly incorporated DIHs. They will add learning opportunities to the training catalogue and their services and datasets could be exploited by SMEs during the next open call for experiments by the end of this year. But not only the selected experiments can benefit from the EUH4D offerings and the DIHs expertise –  any organisations interested in using from data-driven services can contact the EUH4D federation für support. To ensure service quality and standards the newly onboarded DIHs also have the I-Spaces label granted from BDVA.
